The Alumni Association aims at contributing for the greater good of the society through conduct of charity events, relief/ welfare activities, awareness camps etc.
The Alumni Association contributed fund and material during 2018 flood which devastated the state of Kerala. The members of the community played an active role in helping the flood relief activities at various levels.
KVPAA is one of the first KV Alumni Associations to join in the fight against the pandemic. The members of the association whole-heartedly contributed to the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PMCARES) fund and collected an amount of Rs. 75,000/- in a short span of time. This amount was handed over to The Manager of State Bank of lndia, Cotton Hill Branch on 20th May 2020.
Palapally, a rubber plantation hilly terrain near Chiminni Dam, is home to GHSS Kannattupadam. The villagers mostly rely on rubber tapping. After being declared a Critical Containment Zone due to the Covid pandemic, the colony was forced to close. People's living conditions deteriorated as they went without food and other basics. As soon as this scenario became apparent, KV Pangode's 12th batch of 1992 organised 110 food kits for students and their families, including rice, groceries, and veggetables.
